There is a bizarre situation that Yahoo users are facing for the dawn of the day. The users throughout the world are unable to access Yahoo mail, chat and other services. Yahoo itself has confirmed about the outage and the efforts in the process to troubleshoot it.

The Yahoo update at 10.10 AM: Yahoo is down and online users are unable to open it and access their emails.

Yahoo has just informed about the ongoing outage by tweeting:

“You may not be able to access some of our services, including email. Our top priority right now is getting this fixed. We appreciate your patience.”

“We understand how difficult this must be for you. We’re working especially hard to fix this. Please stay tuned for updates.”

What is the actual story?

Yahoo is going through a massive outage this morning, and users are facing difficulty while accessing their respective accounts. Even Yahoo websites are not opening.

The issue started at 7.30 am when the thousands of Yahoo users collectively reported about the downtime issue and they look like blocked by Yahoo. Neither they are unable to access their inbox nor allowed to open Yahoo websites.

The user who tried accessing Yahoo homepage came across the message stating “This site can’t be reached. www.yahoo.com’s server IP address could not be found.”

The countries which majorly faced the issue are Europe and some parts of the US.

At the Down Detector’s forum, one user writes “No Yahoo at all today but I’ve never had this before. Anyone know what the problem actually is?

The other one added: “Yahoo mail not working on my iPhone neither or the app nor the website.”

Social media is currently full of posts by Yahoo users as they are regurgitating their anger and frustration. One user Tweeted “Anyone knows if Yahoo mail is down? It’s not loading for me.”

The other one added “The entire site is down and I’m getting a ‘server not found’ message for any yahoo address. How the heck can we use your mail (which I’ve had for 20 years) if there’s no site?”

Yahoo has now announced how and when this problem is going to be fixed. There is no update how long this is going to stay and disturb Yahoo users, so all users must stay calm till a solution is provided.
