8. That’s all! Your Microsoft account is ready, press ‘Continue to Site’ to proceed.

For years, it kept a number of users confused as when they searched for Hotmail and were directed towards the Windows Live page. Outlook.com was the final attempt by Microsoft to bring all its email services under a single name. So if you will ‘hotmail.com’, or ‘live.com’ in your browser, you will be directed towards outlook.live.com which is the currently running email service of Microsoft.
