| Updated on March 1, 2024

Twitter is one of the leading social media platforms; it is the online platform that people use to express their views or opinions on a topic. You get all the information about the latest trends and news from Twitter only. Most of the celebrities and famous personalities do connect with people through their Twitter handle. Due to all this, Twitter accounts have become more vulnerable to hacking and that’s why it has become more important to secure your Twitter account.

Unfortunately, if you have got your Twitter account hacked, this blog will talk about all the possible ways to get back your Twitter account.

Before that, let me tell you that when someone tries to hack your account they either know your password or they try to reset it if they have access to your email address or phone number. So you need to keep an eye on that. Hence, whenever you receive an email that if you requested a password reset for your account, click on this button, you need to first see if the email is from the official Twitter email address or someone is trying to scam you.

Next, if you haven’t requested a password reset, first delete the email that you have received and quickly secure your email address by changing its password so that the hacker loses access to your email address as well as to your Twitter account.

Click on ‘Reset Password’ option to request a password reset for your hacked Twitter account

In case, your Twitter password has got changed by the hacker, here are the options you have:
