OnePlus unveils its latest lineup headlined by the Nord 5 smartphone

Unveiled by OnePlus are five new items, including a new entry to its popular Nord series of handsets, planned for release in India and Europe next month. Having given some early information about each gadget, the firm intends to release two cell phones, a tablet, a smartwatch, and a set of earbuds. But until the launch event set for July 8th, complete specifications and pricing information will remain secret.

The first Nord model to include a flagship Qualcomm processor, namely the Snapdragon 8S Gen 3, created for more affordable premium smartphones, the Nord 5 is the most recent variation in the company’s mid-range smartphone series. This model also has compatibility with LPDDR5X RAM and a better cooling system. Though we lack details on the phone’s specs, the images imply it will come in a light blue tint officially known as “Dry Ice” and have a dual back camera arrangement.

Expected to be priced somewhat lower, the Nord CE5 will accompany the Nord 5; the only information on it so far is its ‘Marble Mist’ color finish. During a conversation with Techradar, OnePlus’ head of marketing for Europe, Celina Shi, confirmed that both phones will come equipped with the new customizable Plus Key, replacing the traditional Alert Slider for which the company is known, along with the AI Plus Mind function it enables.

Another inexpensive choice, the OnePlus Pad Lite is designated as ‘entry level’ by the business. It sports the same central, circular camera design as OnePlus’ past tablets instead of the redesigned Pad 3 seen this month. Although the company hasn’t released more information, over the weekend, a full specification sheet for the Pad Lite was leaked, suggesting it will be available with an optional cellular version, powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 chipset, and feature an 11-inch LCD display.

Finally, along with a new set of headphones, the firm has indicated that there would be a more tiny 43mm OnePlus Watch 3 to match the current 47mm model.
