RGB design for upcoming ROG Strix laptop by ASUS

A post by VideoCartz suggests that the new Rog Strix Laptop will be launched by Asus on January 6, 2024. The laptop is shown to have RGB lighting that elegantly surrounds the bottom of the device in a quick teaser that has been uploaded by Asus. This assures a more vibrant underglow when compared to its predecessors.

The RGB lighting is located on the underside of the laptop, reminding of some of the accessories of Razer. The design aims to create a striking underglow reflecting off the surface beneath the laptop; this can give an overall boost to the aesthetics.

While there are no Strix models specified in the teaser, there are speculations because of the recently leaked listings of upcoming laptops from ASUS. This suggests that the teaser may be hinting at the introduction of those models.

It remains uncertain whether ASUS will reveal several laptops featuring this design at the convention. However, it seems logical for the company to maintain a consistent design theme across its ROG Strix lineup for 2025.

Hence it is quite possible that several new gaming laptops can be seen equipped with this captivating underglow feature. Rumors also suggest that the new Strix laptops may come with GPUs as powerful as the RTX 5090. It is in alignment with the trend of gaming laptop brands launching new models that feature the latest GPUs upon release. NVIDIA is expected to bring its 50-series GPUs early next year. Recent leaks have indicated that ASUS is all set to introduce the ROG Strix Scar 16 and ROG Strix Scar 18 laptops, both the laptops will feature 50-series graphics cards. As per Notebookcheck, the ROG Strix Scar 18 could come with RTX 5090 GPU while the ROG Strix Scar 16 may come with an RTX 5080 card.
