X has added the new Monetization tab to help the creators keep track of pending payouts. By the way, this feature is only available for X premium users.
X is continuing to add new features to entice the premium subscribers. These new features will make the platform better in comparison to others.
X New Daily spotted the feature first and shared it with others through their handle.
As you can see from the above image, the premium users are now able to access a new Monetization tab. Tapping on that will open various monetization pathways of X. Here, you will be able to get an estimate of your pending payout within the current period.
It will also provide access to further information on X’s monetization programs. This nifty little feature is a great way to keep tabs on your X payouts. And creators would be able to address any potential issues related to monetization.
This would help small creators a lot who were hit by the recent wave of demonetization on X. There are many challenges for small creators, they lose the monetization if it gets community noted. And some creators on the platform are using the community notes as a tool to block others from getting payouts in the app.
However, it is not easy for people to attack other creators as community notes require consensus from people of opposing views. The platform is continuing to refine the Notes process to protect the creators.
Some creators lost monetization for no reason.
However, the creator program on X is still in its early age and there are going to be some issues along the way. However, the platform is allowing users to make money from their X posts. This type of monetization was not available in the past.
This little feature will go a long way to make the platform better for everyone as the company continues to refine it.
