Recycle old tech at Apple Stores and get 10 percent off

Apple is advising its customers that they can visit an Apple Store to trade in their very old devices-even those without eligibility for receiving any store credits, for discounts on products such as AirPods, AirTags, and many more. Since now is just the right time when we are witnessing the arrival of spring, we can do some cleaning around our abodes to discard the unwanted items. Apple joins in on this activity also. And this time, with the promotion of offering extremely old Apple technology converted to savings toward newer accessories.

From Wednesday, the company will start a limited-time in-store recycling program likely to mark Earth Day. The one-month offer will be available for a month, so hurry. 

Mark Gurman tweeted out the offer on X on Tuesday: “Apple expects to kick off an in-store recycling event tomorrow offering a 10% discount, or up to $20 off, on all Apple accessories-including AirPods, AirTags, Apple Pencil, watch bands, cases, Mac peripherals-for bringing in things that don’t earn trade credit during a month-long period.”

This offer will allow the clientele to avail a 10% discount on Apple products by taking along items that usually wouldn’t qualify for trade-in value. The ceiling of the discount is capped at $20 and applies to more products, including AirPods, AirTags, and the Apple Pencil.

– Apple-branded adapters, cables, and chargers 

– Apple-branded cases for iPhone and iPad

– Magic Mouse

– Magic Trackpad
