Now, LinkedIn is making it easier for users to interact with DMs on the mobile app. The company now adds an option to reply to a specific message within a chat stream.

As you can see from the example users will now have the capacity to reply to any specific DM by long pressing on the chosen comment and selecting “Reply” from your options.
Check out these images posted by Matt on Threads, the responses will be displayed in-stream beneath the specific comment. This feature will make it easier for you to conduct longer chats and ensure that recipients understand what you’re replying to.
This option is now available on the mobile app. The same option has been available on the Desktop version of the platform for quite a while now.
This is not a massive upgrade to the platform albeit a helpful one. This little upgrade could make your life way easier. This is especially helpful for people who communicate via DM a lot on LinkedIn.
Ever since Microsoft took over LinkedIn, the platform has been aggressive in its offering for creating useful features on the platform. The company has been working towards making its DMs a lot more useful.
