WhatsApp multiple account feature coming to iOS soon

WhatsApp, the famous instant messaging platform is set to roll out an exciting new feature for iOS users that will allow them to handle multiple accounts on one device. WaBetaInfo reported that this update is right now undergoing beta testing and is expected to be out for all iPhone users soon.

The latest beta version of WhatsApp for iOS (25.2.10.70) on TestFlight brings in the ability for users to effortlessly switch between different WhatsApp accounts without logging out of one. This means that users can now easily navigate their various accounts right within the app.

This enhancement is especially beneficial for users who are using multiple phone numbers. Earlier, managing a second WhatsApp account often meant opting for WhatsApp business, even for personal use.

With this new feature, users can now streamline their experience, eliminating the need for a separate application that makes it easier to handle multiple numbers directly in the standard WhatsApp interface.

Users will have the option to set up a primary account or they can even add an additional one by simply scanning a QR code. While Android users have been using this functionality for a year, it is now making its way to iOS.

On an Android device, managing two accounts generally requires a dual SIM setup. However, the upcoming iOS update simplifies this process, allowing users to oversee all their conversations within a single app.

This feature makes sure that users can manage chats from different accounts while keeping their account details distinct. Everything will be separate for each account such as backups, conversations, notifications as well as settings. This will allow users to operate each account independently. For those who have dual SIM cards, this update is a game changer as it eliminates the need to assign each SIM to different WhatsApps like WhatsApp Business. The main app will efficiently handle both numbers at once.
