This leak is coming from the South Korea site Naver, a leaker yeux1122 suggests that the iPhone 16 Pro Max model will have a larger battery than the iPhone 15 Pro Max. This report suggests that the top-end iPhone model would feature a five percent larger battery than its predecessor.
The five percent larger battery may seem a lot for most users when paired with a power-efficient chip and software optimization, it could turn out to be a significant jump in battery life than last year.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max had a larger 4441 mAh battery, so the iPhone 16 Pro Max could feature a 4676 mAh capacity battery.
We hope that this rumor is true as it is rumored to feature a bigger 6.9 MLA display. This type of display would drain more battery than last year’s model. The device is also said to retain an L-shaped battery design, a dual-cell arrangement to save internal space.
Apart from the battery, the report also claims that the device could feature a bigger screen, smaller bezels, and an exclusive AI. Yes, Apple will now ship iPhone-exclusive AI features starting this year.
There is confirmation on what these features are going to be but we can assume that most of them will focus on photo editing and overall enhancement in the camera department.
