Grok, the AI chatbot from X is now available in the UK. X UK announced that premium subscribers in the UK will now have access to their Grok AI chatbot.
This is the first for a European country. The Grok AI chatbot is not available anywhere else in the European region.

xAI Corp’s Grok is now available in all countries where X premium works, except for EU, and EEA member nations. The bot lets users ask controversial questions and get answers directly in-stream.
In the long run, Elon Musk wants Grok to be a significant player in the AI market. The fact of the matter is that the tool is improving significantly as it has access to X’s post database.
After Brexit, the UK is not part of the EU, which is why X is releasing their AI chatbot in the region before the rest of the EU.
X is trying hard to negotiate with the EU regulators for the launch of its AI chatbot in the region.
Now that users in the UK have access to Grok, it may lead to more premium sign-ups in the region. However, that’s not a given because of the X’s declining popularity among young audiences.
