Calendar
The calendar is displayed according to Day, Week, Month, and Year. Users need to select the mode and the corresponding events scheduled against the same are displayed accordingly. All the events are showcased on an hourly scale that can be adjusted from 5 to 60 mins + autoscale option.

Table and Week Agenda are two additional display modes under the Calendar module. The first shows the list of scheduled tasks having fields like Start time, End time, Duration, and some description. Tasks
The creation of tasks is the USP of EssentialPIM which allows users to initiate regular to-do lists, schedule appointments, and create plans for their future tasks. Users can even execute their tasks according to the priority given the integration of EssentialPIM with the calendar module. A special editor offers users the flexibility of creating and editing tasks. Some of the editing options that can be enjoyed are adding underline and color to fonts, adding hyperlinks, entering bullet lists and numbered lists.
Users can set several variables for each task that determine its viewing. There is an option of creating special reminders and recurring tasks. Priority levels can be set against specific tasks and users can track the process using a built-in scale having 25% increments. The main part of the work area here remains occupied by the editor and you can access the already created notes in a hierarchical data tree structure at the left side of the screen.
There is also an option of adding files, tables, pictures, anchors, and hyperlinks to other EPIM items to the texts. The USP of Notes module however lies in its Sticky Notes feature which can be used separately from the mainframe for displaying directly on the desktop. However, to avail of this functionality, the main window of EssentialPIM needs to be running.
Contacts
Client credentials can be stored systematically in the Contacts module. Users can navigate through the contacts either via the data table or group list. For adding a new contact to the list, his business card has to be created by filling in details like the first and last name, numbers, photo, email, and address. Users can even replace, delete and rename the fields with others. There is no upper ceiling on the number of contact cards that can be created using EssentialPIM.
