The creation of tasks is the USP of EssentialPIM which allows users to initiate regular to-do lists, schedule appointments, and create plans for their future tasks. Users can even execute their tasks according to the priority given the integration of EssentialPIM with the calendar module. A special editor offers users the flexibility of creating and editing tasks. Some of the editing options that can be enjoyed are adding underline and color to fonts, adding hyperlinks, entering bullet lists and numbered lists.

Client credentials can be stored systematically in the Contacts module. Users can navigate through the contacts either via the data table or group list.
