Bellsouth, formerly known as BellSouth Corporation, is an American telecommunications company that is known for email services. If you have set up your BellSouth email account, you must know how amazing it works with all those advanced features. You can also set up your Bellsouth email account on Outlook or any other third-party email client to manage your email accounts better. This will let you access all your emails without logging into your Bellsouth.net email account.

POP downloads all your emails by contacting your email service and after they are downloaded, they get completely deleted from the email service; that is how POP works. So, to access the emails after it has been downloaded, you can only access them using the same device. You won’t be able to access the messages on a different device that has been previously downloaded. There are a lot of email services that use POP.

Note- If the Bellsouth email account is not working on Outlook or you are facing login issues with your Bellsouth account, you can try resetting the password.
Using IMAP, you can access your emails from anywhere and that too from any device that you have. This is the benefit of using IMAP that you don’t have to download or store your emails on your computer as you can directly read them from the email service. To download a message while using IMAP, you have to click on it. Hence, using IMAP settings is a quicker way to access all your emails.
